When to ask for help????

So my hubby and I have been TTC #1 for 6 months. I'm 30 and he's 32. I've tried the apps, and tried opk's. They indicate the surge so we bd at least every other day after surge. Nothing has helped yet. When do you decide it's time to go to md and ask for help? Like test me and him?

Most fertility specialists won't talk to you until you have tried for a year. With that said if you have pcos or endometriosis they will see you after six months!

Look into Preseed and Geritol, they helped us conceive in one month after having been trying for 6...also the month we finally conceived we BD every day the week of ovulation. Finally happened, don't loose hope.

And FYI, this app never had my ovulation timing correct, was off by 5 days for me...

Taking up to a year is considered normal (6 months if you're >35 yo).  You should try bd'ng before your surge. Studies have shown couples tend to be more successful if they bd in the days before ovulation. Good luck!

They say before 35, try for a year before seeking medical intervention. If you have any health concerns (like I have endometriosis) then go earlier.

For some, it's easy, for others, it takes a while.

When to ask for help????
