Quick question

Does the length of your cycle determine after how long you'll ovulate? Is it always on the 14th day? I just looked at my cycle and it looks quiet different I haven't updated it in like 2 months til this month..I take 7 days of periods and my fertile window begins 6 days after my period which makes ovulation like on the 16th day of my cycle..then I looked at some other cycle posted here and she had 4 days of her period and her fertile window was about 3 days later..am I lost or something someone guide me please?
