When should I test with OPK's?

When is the best time to test with OPK's? My clear blue digital says to use FMU but I've read that using your second or third urine is better. I just want to make sure I catch my peak OPK at the right time

Thanks for the advice! I'll be testing in the mornings and again in the evenings (when I get home from work). I start testing today. Really trying to stay hopeful that this is our month.

I test with FMU and at 2pm. Early afternoon is best for most accurate readings.

I tested every 12 hours. There is some literature that suggests that the LH surge is more typical in the afternoon so testing first thing in the morning and then again in early evening ensures you cover all your bases. Got my BFP the month I started doing that.

This is my second cycle TTC and second cycle using OPK's. Last cycle I used only digital with FMU and in the evenings around 5pm and I got low results until one morning it went straight to peak. I bought some cheaper non-digital tests to user his time, too. I have a 26-28 day cycle and my menstrual cycle is 7 days long. I think I ovulate around CD 13/14

I test with my second urine of the day, then again around dinner time. Throughout my cycle at first until I figured out around when I ovulated. After a few months I switched to just testing during my fertile week. Is this your first month? Or do you have a general idea when you ovulate? If it's your first month the cheapest might be better since you will be using a lot of them, but that's just my personal preference. I didn't like the digital ones since I couldn't see the progression of the line. 🍀 ✨
