how do you know it's real love?

I'm in a relationship and my boyfriend started saying I love you. How do I know it's real love I've never been in love I don't know how you know? What was it that your SO did that you knew you were in love?

I know my husband was in love with me because when we were first dating we got in this big fight... I know sounds crazy so let me explain before him I had been in some bad relationships and I mean bad they treated me like crap they all cheated on me all but 1 cheated... When I was finally in a good relationship I didn't know how to act so I did everything in my power to get him to brake up with me and I mean everything but he never did he fought for me and wouldn't just let me walk away... That's when I knew he really did love me... Listen to your heart... Everyone is different if there's something he does that's makes you see how great you have it then your probably in love with him... It's the little things that they do that makes you see that your in love with him... Good luck hope this helps :)

My SO said he fell in love with me when he was keeping me company while I was sick. I was really spacey and nauseous and looked like crap so we just kinda sat in bed and cuddled. 
I'm not sure when I knew I loved him, all I know is each day he makes me fall deeper in love with him.

Everybody is different, how does he make you feel ? And do you see a future with him ? If you do it could be real love.
 It's all in the way he treats you the things he says and does for you, the effort really. You know it's real when you don't have to question it and you just feel it inside :)
