Not finding out the sex of baby

So my husband wants to keep the sex of the baby a surprise until birth since it's our last one I think it's a cool idea an i support it but part of me wants to know so I can pick out a theme bedding  an cloths ect I have mixed feelings about it but I think im on board for the surprise I guess we will do a baby shower after the birth or how does that work when you don't find out the sec if baby when should you have a baby shower
