So confused! TMI

So af was due yesterday right? I'm never early, if anything I'm late. Since Friday I've been on and off spotting. Used 2 tampons thinking it was getting heavy, but it was just the brown yucky stuff. And today, so far nothing at all. I took tests yesterday that all had faint lines, took one today with fmu and it was negative. Idk what to think. Anyone else go through this?
