Anyone's pcos level itself out?

Hi, I was diagnosed with pcos at 19. Was married 7 years, used no protection, never had kids. When I turned 28, in a course of 2 years, ( now I'm 30) I dropped 120 pounds, my cycle regulated itself and I hardly have the side effects of pcos. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you get pregnant w\o having to take any medication?

I was diagnosed 2 years ago. Started metformin and gained nearly 80lbs over a year.
Met made me so sick and miserable that I gave up. I stopped taking it, started eating better, cut out a lot of stress in my life, lost all of my weight. 
I found out I was 6 wks the same week I reached my ideal weight. 
At the first sonogram she showed my ovaries one was completely black the other was only half covered by cysts. I felt my body regulating itself over time. I had 3 or so "normal" cycles and then got pregnant. First pregnancy ever.

They claim if you're overweight that excercise and weight loss/healthy eating and lifestyle changes can decrease the stress on your body and help level you out so everything begins to regulate. … that's awesome news by the way! I'm hoping one day soon that I'll get to hear something similar! ;)
