Bleeding while breastfeeding?

So I am noticing some vaginal bleeding today. I am 12 weeks post Partum and exclusively breast feeding my babe. I am pumping though, and my little one sleeps through the night. I am not sure what to make of the bleeding, could I be getting my period this soon? Is it still okay to breast feed the baby then? I have already dropped a note to my Obgyn but wanted to ask the glow community too.
