Boyfriend looking at different college!

I've been with my boyfriend for a while now, we're both seniors this year. I feel like I am in love and he claims frequently that he loves me. When it comes to college, we sometimes talk about how nice and amazing it would be to go together. About a month ago he visited a college out of state and now he won't stop talking about them. It's worrying me. His says the only thing stopping him is the out of state tuition. What do I say or do? It's breaking my heart and I'm in tears nearly every night.
