Sore breasts...

Yesterday my husband I and our 2 children went to the beach.  I believe I nursed daughter as many times on the beach as I would at home.  However driving home my breasts became painfully full and I started getting chills from it.  As soon as I got home I pumped to ease the pressure but I still was left with a sore breast.  It feels like someone punched me on the side of my left boob.  Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and how long should I expect the soreness to last
