Do i seem selfish?

My husband and I are having a disagreement on baby names. Well just for the boy names. He wants a JR and i feel that the baby should have its own name. I did agree on putting his name as a middle name but i dont think he is buying that. Should i just give in an give him a JR or find a name to go with his?? Please help!!

If you have any suggestions on any name that i can put with the middle name being Elton?

A name has to be a compromise. I'm not one of those that thinks because we push them out we get the only say. If he doesn't like a name, find something else. If yiu don't want a JR Find something you can agree on.

Either way  someone is going to be unhappy with the choice of name.  What makes his happiness anymore important than yours.  It's going to need to come down to  a compromise and a sacrifice somewhere.

Picking a name has to be a compromise. My husband compromised on my daughters name, which I choose due to some family reasons on my side. When we found out we were having a boy the second time around he just kind of seemed excited when we talked about having a 3rd (he is a jr) so I compromised and told him if he wants to name baby boy after him we can. Good luck choosing a name is difficult.
