He felt nothing!

I recently just had sex for the first time with my boyfriend. It was both our first time. He put on a condom (which he's never tried one on before). We continued into having sex. For me, it hurt, but not as bad as I was told it'd hurt. He felt nothing. I'm concerned whether or not I'm too loose (not tight enough) or it was the condom being too thick. Help me girls!
