I don't know when nor how to do one, let alone with whom? Insight please!!! 
I'm 17 Weeks and don't know what we're having yet, I think I find out on the 22nd.

I use babylist... It's an app and it's amazing! I can use any store any website and it's all just one easy list! They also have a premade catalog with top rated items... Definitely recommend it!

I waited till after I found out he was a boy. Probably around 22 weeks or so. I have a Target registry I started online and I have a registry at MyRegistry.com, which I love because you can put anything on it from any store! Anything you like from anywhere can be on one list. I mainly only did the target one for older relatives that might not look at the website or shop online. It was a little overwhelming at first, but then got kinda fun picking stuff out.

Toys r us, target, ect... You can start it now and work on it until the shower... There is a link in each website for baby registry. Sign up, add the things you like and you can switch things around

Amazon is very similar to Baby list.  I'm not quite to the end yet, but I think they give you 10% off what's left.  I also am doing babies r us.  No problems for me.

If you choose to do one at Target in store(super easy guest services will walk you through it) you get a goodie bag ☺️ it's super sweet ! Was the first gift I received for my son and I was in tears !!!
