Meeting boyfriend's parents!!!

So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 months now and tomorrow I'm going to meet his parents. I decided that I'd bring his mom flowers or a plant because she really likes them. I asked my boyfriend and he said a bouquet of flowers is fine. I asked what type and he said "Any. Something colorful."

Now I'm left with making the decision of which flowers to buy. Any ideas??? What would you enjoy receiving? What would you recommend or not recommend?
