Tell me this is good news!!

Wednesday I lost my mucus plug. No big deal as I know it can grow back. BUT Thursday I started having just this constant heavy cramping and a few painful contractions in the morning. Had my appointment in the afternoon and I saw a resident who said she couldn't really tell if I was dilated but I was definitely soft and thinned out. That night I had severe cramping and more painful contractions that eventually died out. Early this morning I had my bloody show and more severe cramping in the late afternoon. I'm so ready to have this baby! Someone please tell me these are good signs that labor is near!
