Subchorionic hemorrhage?

Anyone had this? How quick did it heal or sort itself out? Did it affect your baby? How often did they check your progress on the bleed? Iv been put on bedrest until further notice. I'm worried for my baby. I had MC in June therefore I'm super anxious.

I had one that was 3cm. As a result, I was forced to have weekly ultrasounds. Then it went away but another come in back that was 2cm so I was put on complete pelvic rest. I have done so much research on this area. Unfortunately mine was believed to have caused my miscarriage as it ripped the placenta off the wall and baby died. If I were you, I would see a specialist. I was reading they can give baby aspirin and some other things rather than the old fashioned "third world style" of "wait and see." I wish I had of gone to a specialist.

I do know a lady who had one and it caused he to bleed a lot once it rump tired but then her baby was fine. My specialist said when he sees them it is a heightened risk of miscarriage. So screw re bed rest wait and see approach and ask for baby aspirin or something!!

I had a small one which caused me to bleed but they didn't put me on bed rest just light duty for a bit. This was about 8 wks along. I'm almost 27 wks and have not had any issues since and the ultrasounds have been good too. I believe it depends on how large it is. Doctor said that sometimes it can be pretty big and can cause a miscarriage because it ruptures and causes the baby to be flushed out with it. Praying all will be fine. It's so nerve racking not knowing if everything will be ok. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

I had one--it was so big I actually bled a ton and the doctor initially thought I had miscarried because I bled so much and had severe cramping. This was around week 6-7. They tested my HcG levels and then decided to do an ultrasound and that's when the found the hemorrhage. I bled a little (always brown blood though) for probably 2-3 weeks. I was told no strenuous exercise but to go about daily life--I'm sure because of your MC it's different. In any case, they checked it in my next ultrasound and it had healed up fine. I'm now 28+2 and the baby is healthy as can be. :-) good luck!
