I'm looking for advice or anyone else who has dealt with this. My doctor called me yesterday to tell me our baby girl had a small pocket/cyst of fluid on her brain and her one kidney was holding some fluid. He said the cysts normally disappear come the 3rd trimester, but I can't help but freak out. My two other daughters have had their kidneys hold fluid during their pregnancies and that turned out fine so that doesn't worry me as much, but the fluid does. I go next week for a blood test to look for any admiral signs of genetic defects and will have another ultrasound at 28 weeks. If the blood test comes back with anything we will have to decide on an amino test or not. But I'm looking to see if anyone else has dealt with this and for some reassurance hopefully.
