Anyone else? Hashimotos and hormones

Hi Ladies, I am 35 next week and have been struggling with hypothyroid for a few years. Last year i started with 2 grains of naturthroid. And experienced weightloss, hot flashes, and more hairloss (lots of hair loss before treatment). 
Since then I've had various dosage changes and recently after switching doctors, I've been diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. My prescription was changed to a compounded formula. Now, because I hyper convert my t4 to t3 the dosage has been adjusted again, but still no weight loss. I'm also on a compounded progesterone and am praying to get all this in order because my husband and I would like to start a family as soon as healthily possible. Who else is in a similar boat?

I was pregnant with Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism. I carried my baby till 37 1/2 weeks. He was born perfectly healthy.

The doctors pushed medication on me but I was able to cure my thyroid disorder just by going on a strict grain free/paleo type diet.

It is possible. And there is hope! I hope you find something that works.

I have Hashimoto's and was started on the lowest dose of synthroid. I get tested very 8 weeks and usually require an increase in dosage. My endocreonologist wanted me as close to a 1.0 as possible before ttc. We conceived in January but miscarried due to a blighted ovum. We conceived again in April and I am now 22 weeks and going strong.

I'm sorry for your loss, thank you for sharing! Congratulations! My ob/gyn said the same thing last year, at the time my tsh was around 9. It was about 6 about 2 months ago, I feel the hormones picking up, been more emotional and had raging pms this month. So I can tell this dose is doing more. Trying to be patient. Been married almost 6 years, ready for babies!
