Hard ball in cervix?

Question

First off, I have never been good at checking my cervical position. I've been to the gyno recently, and he assured me that everything looked very normal.

My vagina tilts to the left side, and when I insert my middle finger, the first thing I feel is a hard ball. It feels about the size of a quarter or golf ball. I am able to push around that and it feels soft.

Is this normal? Has anybody else ever felt this? What is it?

Are you sticking your fingers just in your vagina or IN your cervix? HOW are you doing that? That should really hurt. But DO NOT do that anymore. You can transfer bacteria and give yourself an infection

You're not suppose to put your finger inside your cervix it can cause infection! I'm sure if the doctor said all is good, that all is good. Stop putting your fingers up there no matter how clean bacteria can get in there from your finger.

Wait, what's my cervix? I am just sticking a middle finger into my vagina. I am embarrassingly awful with the anatomy of it all. Nothing hurt at all. I put my middle finger about 3 inches in, as felt a ball. So the ball is my cervix?
