Spotting at 33 Weeks?

Is spotting at 33 weeks pregnant normal? Its not pink or brown but a bright red but its just small spotting no clots or anything like that. Just wondering if I should call my hospital and ask if they want me to come in since my doctors are closed all weekend. Im not having contractions but having severe crotch pain. It literally paralyzes me some days. Just wanted to know of anyone elsehas experienced this and what they did!

Go to the hospital. I had a tiny amount of bleeding and I was in labor at 29 weeks. I didn't have any pain except some minor back pain as well.

Have you been having sex? This can cause spotting. If not you need to contact your doc!

go to the hospital, sounds horrible but don't shower take ur knickers with you so they can see exactly how much blood & also if you've had sex that could cause the spotting x

Most doctors have after hours when you call the main number. They page the doctor on call and they call you back. That's what I would do.
