Grandmom vent

I'm so mad at my mom and just need to vent!  My mom has seen my nursery and all the projects I have done for it.  I have hand made a mobile, refinished furniture, created wall hangings all with what I thought was a very cute princess theme.  I created a registry for my shower with very basic baby things - spoons, bottles, stuff for breast feeding, diapers, wipes, etc asking for nothing for the actual nursery.  My mom took it upon herself to tell guests I would LOVE Beatrix potter themed nursery things and that she loved pink elephants - not telling them about the registry because apparently she doesn't believe in them.  Needless to say, I got tons of Beatrix potter and pink elephant stuff.  Two older relatives made me quilts in this theme.  My mom bought me sheets, wall clings, a bank, stuffed animals, baskets and blankets with these made up themes of hers.  What's extra frustrating is I know most of the gifts are from TJMaxx, but the tags have been cut off or peeled off so they can't be returned.  I just don't understand why she would do this. My family doesn't have a ton of money, this just seems like a huge waste.  I don't mean to seem ungrateful, I just don't know what I'm going to do with all these random decorations I can't return after I put so much time and effort into a theme I loved.
