Xulane Patch

 I first was on depo & hated it so decided to switch to another non-pill option. I was prescribed the patch probably about a year or maybe two ago and was given the brand Ortho Evra. Now I'm on xulane. I remember with Ortho, if your patch had come off or if you needed to apply a new one early, you could get a replacement patch prescription and would have to pay for it up front, then get a refund on your money from the company. Well, I had to use an extra patch since I had sweat mine off. My physician called my pharmacy for a replacement patch and it seemed like everything went okay. I went in to pick it up and they wanted me to buy a whole new month supply of patches for $100, something I can't afford. They said that they do not open boxes to give a replacement patch, but I feel like the replacement patch should be its own product & separate for the whole month supply. Does anyone know if Xulane offers replacement patches? I'm having difficulties with my physician & my pharmacy about this issue. If I can't resolve this, I am planning to change my birth control method. Thanks.
