Possibilities?!

My period is has been regular for almost a year except for this month. I was due for it on the 1st and it didn't come till the 7th. It only last 4 days but after the fifth day I noticed brown spotting. Could I possibly be pregnant and just getting a period or am I just being too hopeful and getting my hopes up? I've also been experiencing tender breasts, dizziness and nausea. Advice please.
