Gender Preference

I will be 26 in November and also will celebrate my 5th wedding anniversary in that month. My husband and I are finally ready for babies and I couldn't be more excited! I really want a little boy, I think this is only because I have nephews and have never really been around little girls. My husband doesn't have a gender Preference. I've studied all the methods to "make a boy" and I'm really indecisive on what to do! I'm religious so I kind of feel like regardless of how we "make a baby" God already has a child for us. I also want to get pregnant in December or January desperately (no earlier or later). Should I try this gender thing? Has anyone else experienced gender Preference?
