Baby aspirin & Preeclampsia
I was wondering if anyone started taking baby aspirin after 12 weeks in order to reduce risk of preeclampsia (as directed by doc, obviously)! I developed high blood pressure at the end of my first pregnancy and my doctor is suggesting I should take baby aspirin daily after 12wks to reduce my risk of developing preeclampsia. While I never actually developed preeclampsia last time (I was induced after they noticed high blood pressure), she said I very well could have if I wasn't induced.
I'm sort of worried to take aspirin because I literally took zero drugs last pregnancy (not even tylenol!). Anyone with a similar experience to talk me off the ledge?
