I always ask. I ask way ahead of time too, but He rarely asks. Should I just stop being pushy about it? Because I only see him once a week :/

All I know is if you can go a week or more without seeing you're significant other without really caring or making an effort (obviously unless it's physically impossible due to distance, family problem ect.) you must not be that important to them. Maybe test him for a week and don't do any of the work, make him try! And if he doesn't put forth any effort I think you have you're answer Hun. Give you're time to those who cherish it :)
