I agree the most with communication and honesty. Also compromise. And a lot of understanding towards each other. Obviously respect. Don't let yourself put your husband down, call him names, etc., and hopefully he won't do that to you either.

You have to know where each other stands on all aspects of the marriage communication is your biggest component! Don't be afraid if you feel like it's slipping away sometimes just have a nice sit down with your SO and discuss what ways you both can make it better 💜
