Debating having some one in the delivery room
So, up until about midnight last night while I was up tossing and turning, I thought I only wanted my SO and I in the room while I delivered our son. I wanted us to have that uninterrupted time to bond until we were ready for the masses to come in and join us.
Well, I still only want him and I- but then it occurred to me that no one would be there to take our picture. I don't want photo evidence of the whole event, but rather of us first seeing him and holding him. Those special first moments. I'd ask one friend to be with us.
Will I really miss out having only my SO and I in the room? Or will there be plenty of time for sweet pictures once we have had time to bond alone? I'm really torn.
