You can't make up the English language when you name your child. I understand people don't like traditional spellings, but certain vowels and letters go a certain way to make a certain sound. Sometimes when you change vowels you get a whole new sound. You can't name your child something and just expect people to call them by the correct name bc you named them and you said so. School, sports introductions, work, do you understand how annoying it is for people to never say your name right and misspell it always? Don't do that to your child. Make sure if you are changing the spelling you are not changing the sound the letters make! *end rant*
