Is it worth it?

Is it really worth it to give up everything just for that one guy you could possibly have a future with if it works out? I used to love going out with my friends, drinking & having fun. I can't do that anymore & I'm young. What if one day we don't work out & I'll regret not having time to do things that make me happy.

Is he saying you can't do those thing? If so, then no hes not worth it. A healthy relationship is one where you can still see your friends and have fun. If he's saying you're not allowed to.. I'd move on (personally)

Im 19 and left everything, friends and family, work and college because he preferred me being at home for him. A housewife. He left his studies in the Middle East, flew back over and got married. It was the best decision he ever made for me. I am so happy being his and just for him. He takes me to see my family every fortnight and takes me wherever I want to go. He never refuses to buy me anything even when he gets angry at me.

I feel blessed that this is all better than hanging out with friends and wasting time partying. We have so much fun together after he comes home from work 😊

It all really depends. I met my SO a few years ago, right after we met he moved from NJ to Atlanta for a job promotion. After months of visiting him and wondering what the right thing to do was, I made the plunge and moved down. I knew he was the one at our first family dinner with his family. Last year we bought a house, getting married soon and TTC. And I couldn't be happier and I feel as tho I made the best decision.
