Discharge?

So this is embarrassing and hard for me to write but pretty much since I started my period years ago I also had this slight "milky white discharge" as my gyno explains it, when I'm not on my period sometimes. She said its normal, but does anyone else suffer from this embarrassment?

I may be wrong, but I was always told the "white milky stuff" was your bodies natural soap. Your vagina goes through a process where it cleanses itself. Sounds stupid. Could be wrong lol but that is what I was always told.

Yes.  It is normal to have discharge.  Mine will range from milky white, stick like glue, clear and water like, stretchy like an egg white.  Depending on where you are in your cycle it will change too.  You can also have an odor and slight color... Also normal... I don't have odor but some do still normal.  The only time you should be concerned is of it itches, burns, or becomes thick and looks like cottage cheese (then you can have an infection).  
I use panty liners so my undies don't get ruined when it's annoying me... Also they have thong panty liners too.

Completey normal! It's actually cervical mucus, and it will change in color and consistency throughout your monthly cycle. You can wear panty liners and change them often if it's bothersome to you.

It's normal. Some people have a more abundant amount than others. Generally it should change in appearance and consistency at different points in your cycle. I usually just change my underwear almost every time i use the bathroom. Or if I'm out in public using a bathroom, use toilet paper to clean up the underwear. Some people wear panty liners.
