If you're spotting before AF and it turns out not to be IB, please ask your doctor to test your hormone levels. You could be estrogen dominant or have a low level of progesterone. It is not normal to spot for several days before AF. I learned this in "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", a book I think every woman who is ttc should read.

It's too early for AF if you are right about it being 8-9 dpo, so it could be IB. Anyway good luck✨
