Early pregnancy and clots

I'm 6w5d and I just started spotting brown only when I wipe since yesterday. It comes and goes and today it started in the afternoon and this time I passed a small clot. I'm not bleeding at all. I talked to my Dr. Yesterday and she said I should be fine as long as it doesn't pick up like a period. Also put on pelvic rest. Haven't said anything about the clot because I'm not bleeding. Not sure if I should call back? Has this happened to anyone? Super nerve wrecking!!!
