How Safe Is the Morning-Sickness Drug Diclegis?

Today I given some trial bottles of Diclegis and was wondering if it works and if its safe? What was your experience with this medicine?

I was having major morning sickness; throwing up more than 5x a day and one point 15x in a 24hr period, lost 12lbs!! Dr. had me try Diclegis and oh. my. gosh, it saved me. Immediately the morning I woke up feeling normal and ate a full, normal breakfast. Took it for about 10 weeks (weeks 6-17) and it was the best thing ever. I would even stop taking it on weekends to see to see if my morning sickness was improving so I could let up on it. Halfway through I switched to just one pill instead of the 2 and never had to take it again during the day. The pill each night before bed was enough for me.

It's just Unisom and B6! Both which are safe during pregnancy

Diclegis is just unisom sleep tabs and vitamin B6. It didn't work as well for me as taking the unisom and B6.  From what I have read its one of th most researched drugs for pregnancy.

I had hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness) during my first trimester and my doctor gave me Diclegis and had me taking 2 in the morning and 2 at night.  They told me it was similar to unisom.  It helped tremendously and I'm now 27 weeks along and baby is doing great!
