How long would you go before you felt like inducing would be the right thing to do - granted all vitals were normal.

FTM - Doctor wants to induce at 41 weeks not dialated or effaced - Baby is measuring large. What would you do if you pass 42 weeks is that even allowed these days? Terrified of being induced and would like to hear from other mothers.
