I just need to know. . .

Hi ladies. I completely understand if many do not want to discuss but I'm hoping to just gain some knowledge. I had a late miscarriage, we found baby had no heartbeat at 17weeks4days. When we were able to deliver him, there were no cord abnormalities or anything visual to explain his death. We're sending for genetics but doc and my husband and I don't think that'll show anything. We plan on testing me for clotting disorders. Can anybody share their stories of late miscarriage and if they know why theirs happened?
