What's wrongs with my lip?!

Question

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen, or knows what I can do. I get cold sores a lot, but these bumps are inside my lip now. They don't seem like canker sores to me, but I haven't had any of those in a long while. I'm not trying to have you diagnose me rather than a doctor, but I just thought I'd see if anyone else has had this happen, or what I could do if they are canker sores..?

Ps, I hope this picture isn't tmi, after all it's only my lip..although it doesn't show my problem very well in it.

Looks like canker sores, I swear by gargling a little warm salt water and lemon in the morning after brushing teeth whenever I've gotten canker in the past and the pain goes down slowly and in about three days they are gone.

Update: it was cold sores! Cold sores inside my lips!! I never knew that was possible, but apparently it is. So I have some pills I can take to help knock out cold sores fast now, and have been putting over the counter medicines on them (abreva, blistex, etc) and they are clearing up! I'm glad to finally know what was wrong.

For me, that was an indicator that I had a fluoride allergy. Try switching to a fluoride free mouth wash and tooth paste.
