Once you know you are expecting how long should you wait to tell your friends and family?

It's really just what you want to do. Everyone announces at different times to different groups of ppl. Just do what you feel comfortable with.

I plan on telling my close family (parents, siblings) right away, closest friends after first ultrasound, and then announcing "officially" after 12 weeks.

I told family right away then friends at 7 weeks. If something is gonna go wrong, it will, no matter how far along you are.

I told everyone right away, we were all so excited, and months later i knew i was going through an ectopic pregnancy 💔 .. I think it doesnt matter when you announce it to fam and friends but God willing; when i get pregnant again i would like to announce it at 3 months or when ever i get ro know the gender ✨👶 baby dust to all

I told my husband a couple hours after I found out (needed time to let it set in). We agreed to not tell a soul until we find out the gender.

Entirely ups to you and what you are comfortable with. I miscarried twins a few months before conceiving our son and we had let evvvvvveryone know. Now my son is six and we still have people asking where his twin is, which is still hurtful. It's not their fault, it's just that sometimes good news travels farther than bad news. And most older generations don't discuss miscarriages. We waited until around 13 weeks this time just in case it happened again, because we didn't want people asking questions if it took us a while to conceive again. It's personal preference.

I know me to well. I want tell my husband, mom and best friend. However I want make sure I'm actually pregnant after a blood draw has proved I'm postive before telling the immediate family. I will wait to tell the rest after the first ultrasound. I hope I can keep my mouth hushed. It's hard when you get to excited. But that's me. Lol. Love living life!!!!
