Curious of similarities & differences
Hi all! I had a myomectomy 2 years ago to remove a couple large fibroids (7+ lbs total). My incision runs from the top of my pubic area all the way to about 2 inches above my belly button. Due to the past surgery I'll have to have a c section (and due to another 10cm fibroid in the area of the usual c section cut, I'll have to have another vertical incision).
I'm just curious if anyone else has had a myomectomy (or any abdominal surgery) before a c section and what was similar or different in recovery. I'm reading a lot of women's c section experiences and they all seem fairly similar to what my recovery was like, but it's hard to compare.
Any info is appreciated! :)
