Planned parenthood

Kendyl
So I went to planned parenthood for birth control when I was 17 because no matter what hints I dropped, my mom just bombarded me with embarrassing questions, the GYno my insurances covered needed parents permission to get birth control for some stupid reason so I couldn't even make an appointment in the first place. Should there be that kind of logic? Should a teenager need permission to get birth control from a parent? Condoms don't need parental permission, why should birth control?
