I want something unique that nobody has really ever heard of, but also touching.

My husband and I tied this type of knot. It was something different and it is something we still have on display at our house with other wedding items and pictures!

We did a block stacking ceremony for our family blending ceremony. Our officiant put a spot of glue on each of the blocks to symbolize our wedding as the bond and we each added our own names. Blocks can be found on Etsy in a lot of different formats! We had them made to match our wedding colors.

I've seen the tying of the couples hands together. (Celtic tradition). And they make this one where you poor small pieces of glass like s sand ceremony but then send it off to be made into a piece of art. My sister did it and it was beautiful.

We aged whiskey for ours. We got the kit that includes the barrel and stuff to put in it. We planned on sipping/taking shots for every anniversary til it's almost gone then saving the last two shots worth for a special occasion and that same year to age another barrel. We are both very much whiskey people though.

Our vow renewal will be a traditional Viking wedding. This can be modified for any orientation, as the entire point is showing that you are giving everything you own, including your soul to the other person.

We did a Viking sword ceremony. Where his father presented my father with a sword (we bought and had engraved) then they both shoved it in the ground together and then they hugged. It was like the two families coming together.  :)        (outdoor ceremony)
