What to eat before glucose test? Help I'm starving!!

Question

So it's 7:15 a.m, and I have the glucose test at 2:15 pm. The doctor I had at the moment told me to not eat anything sweet (what exactly that covers I'm not sure). But the problem is, every time I go there I get a different Doctor. Some people say not to eat at all and some say to eat how you regularly would. Help! It's the 1 hour glucose test. 😔

I had a bowl of mini wheats with a banana before I went in. I passed with flying colors. I was told to just eat what I normally would because they want to see how your body is processing any sugars. Obviously don't eat a bag of skittles before you go in lol.

Omelets and meats is good, drink only water or plain milk... grains, fruit, some veggies all turn to glucose

I did my glucose test in the morning so I fasted 12 hours.. if you have it that late they way lean protein is good :) like a turkey sandwich or something!  Good luck

My test was at the end of the day. I had scrambled eggs and cheese in the morning, and hard boiled eggs and a cheese stick for lunch. Lots of protein to get me through, but very little sugar. Hope this helps! (Btw, I passed mine).

I had that done at 12 weeks ate a huge bowl of pasta n sauce n passed with flying colors but was on metformin so not sure just eat a normal healthy breakfast
