IVF or IUI after normal chromosome testing?

We just had our 4th miscarriage, dnc on July 29th. Since its our 4th, it was sent off for genetic testing. If it came back that there were issues with the chromosomes we would go into ivf with pgd as our next step. The results came back and the chromosomes were normal. Now we are more confused than ever. Do we really have a reason to do ivf? We got pregnant with iui. Should we try it again? Huge difference in price as we have to pay everything out of pocket (our ins doesn't cover it). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

My advice to you is to read "is your body baby friendly" by Dr Alan Beer. I've had 4 losses, one was late with a chromosonally normal baby. Look into immune issues and get extensive testing done. I refused to believe that it was just a bunch of flukes and finally got some answers as to why I wasn't carrying. Why would you do ivf with pgt if all was chromosonally normal? A second opinion told me that without testing and further investigation, I could probably expect another mc through ivf.

I understand the financial aspect of your concerns, completely. I had at least 6 rounds of iui and never got pregnant. But with iui, I never had to pay for labs and I just had to pay my copay for Dr visits. We also paid for meds on our own. But with IVF, we paid for everything out of pocket. I know how great the financial aspect could influence you're decision, but I'm so happy that we went thru IVF. I hv fallen pregnant twice. I'm currently pregnant, at 8 weeks and 1 day. I think for me, it was an important decision of how badly did we want to be pregnant and how far are we willing to go before we gave up. Our last cycle was a FET cycle, using our last 2 embryos, we decided that if these babies didn't take, we would be fine with our family ending with us and the 2 doggies. And now, here we are 2 months later!
