Funny smell after sex?

My boyfriend and I of 2 years have a healthy sex life I would say, we're young and just enjoying our lives before any life time commitments! E.g babies, marriage ect.. I'm nearly 20 and he's nearly 25. Anyway down to the point; we don't use condoms and he never pulls out at boiling point.. Don't worry I am on the pill! So I am protected :-) but after a few hours of sex I get a very funny smell from my vagina.. Would it be the semen that makes it smell funny? I just put it down to PH levels but has anybody else experienced the same?

I have the same problem. I was my vagina very carefully, dry it and fresh underwear. It really bother me because I can smell it and the smell hasn't gone after 2 days.

It could be  bacterial vaginosis, nothing to be alarm about. Your vagina puts out good and bad bacterial and your bad bacteria could be over powering the good stuff. Eat  more yogurt and get some probiotics in your life to help offset the good. Watch what type of soap and laundry detergent because that could be the problem too. It could also be your BC  Speak with your health care provider as well. It can be an easy fix with diet but its quicker with meds.

It's the semen. The same thing happens to me. Just try peeing after sex and changing your underwear. Also try showering after.
