Prenatal massage experience?

This morning I woke up and my body just aches. Neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, rib pain and more. I'm 33w1d.... Thinking about the idea of going in for a prenatal massage.

Has anyone had one? What was your experience like?

i'm a certified prenatal massage therapist and I recommend that all pregnant women get regular massages. The benefits to massage are increased circulation to the placenta relaxation for mom relaxation for baby and overall stress release. The key is finding a certified prenatal massage therapist who knows what they're doing massaging the hands and feet are perfectly fine the entire way through your pregnancy. The acupressure points on your hands and feet must be worked for a minimum of 20 minutes in order to produce labor inducing results. A good massage therapist will let you move on the table as much as you want change positions change pressure or get up six times go to the bathroom. I had one because of neck and back of the head pain. It felt really good, I was 35 weeks at that point, I'm 38 now and I feel like I need it more than ever!

I know people who have had amazing prenatal massages. Mine was awful, more because of me than the masseuse. I was hot, uncomfortable, I wanted to keep moving....it was all my issues.

It depends where you go,  some places will have a thick donut  you can put your belly in and lie on your stomach.  This is the massage I prefer!  Other places like massage heights make you lay on your side and to me it's just not relaxing.  Also each therapist is different some will tell you they aren't allowed to massage your feet because it may put you into early labor. There is certain pressure points in your foot that people press on late in pregnancy to help start pregnancy but this isn't guaranteed.  I was super upset the time the lady refused to do my feet.  I was only 20 weeks.
