Labor?!

Hi. I'm a FTM. 37w6d. 
I'm really wanting an all natural labor & delivery.

I know most people can barely handle contractions and end up in the hospital only dilated to a 3-4.

Are there any techniques you other mommies used to try to labor at home?? I'd love to know so that I can labor at home as much as possible before going in.

I stayed home until I was 8cms. Giant yoga/exercise ball saved my life. I basically sat on that thing for 12 hours. But honestly I also stayed busy. We ran last minute errands, cleaned, finished packing up. I was uncomfortable but not in a ton of pain. It will just depend how intense your contractions are. My water never broke on its own so they were manageable. Just stay calm and definitely stay home as long as you can. I got to the hospital, they broke my water, I started pushing about 60 mins later and he was out in 25. All natural. Not even an IV. You CAN do it! :)

You can sit in a warm bath. It really eased some of the pain for me.
