How is your diet while TTC? Are you trying to eat healthier?

i eat chicken mostly and salad and steak on weekends

I try to eat healthier but our budget don't really allow me to shop completely for vegan for me, and get what the kiddos love. I probably only eat healthy 1-2 a week & I hate it!! But I can't restrict my children to only vegan. They have to have protein, carbs, etc. I remember one mother i knew never let her child eat anything unhealthy. He never had ONE drink of pop in his life, only sugar free juice or water, he never even had chicken nuggets from McDonald's! Until he was 12. & that was the only thing he was allowed. Which I understand that because McDonald's has very high calorie & horrible food. But too limit your child that much is insane! Their children! I know obesity is on the high, but your supposed to treat yourself once a week. Just a little rant! Lol
