First IVF cycle no luck

I had my very first IVF retrieval last Monday. Today is day 6 and got a call that the 3 fertilized eggs didn't make it. They retrieved 12 eggs and only 6 of them were mature. And only 3 of them were fertilized. When I heard that last week, I felt hopeless. Getting the call today was even more painful even though I thought this might be the case. Has anyone gone through this? Did you try again?
