Am I pregnant?

Hello everyone, my husband and I have been trying for 3 months now to conceive our first child, I am now 20 days late on my period and I still am getting negative tests, the only symptoms I have are fatigue, nausea, and dizziness. I am wondering how much longer I should wait for blood work to confirm or not confirm that I am pregnant or not and if this sort of thing has happened to anyone else and how long it took before they showed a positive pregnancy test.

I would get a blood test. I know I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and because of that we didn't think I was ovulating (went to the doctor to find out why I hadn't had a period in 6 months, found out I had hypothyroidism and that's why) so I started taking my medication and had nausea and dizzy spells which... we thought were symptoms of my new pills because I took 4 pregnancy tests and they were all negative.

Come to find out... I was pregnant. I took a test at what was 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 6 weeks and 8 weeks that were negative. Went back to my doctors took ANOTHER test and it came back positive, was sent for blood work and my HCG was around 46,000 because of this... my doctor assumed I was 6 weeks and sent me for an ultrasound... Come to find out at the ultrasound I was 16 weeks.

So... go get a blood test, it'll best answer your questions.
