Men! Help!!

Gabrielle

I recently answered an ad in the paper about two gentlemen in the area looking for female to sing duets in their band. I'm not the best singer, but they added that they had auto tune and were desperate to finish the song, Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor. The ad gave a phone number so I sent them a text and told them I was interested. I never got a reply so I figured they had found someone and forgot to remove the ad. Since they never responded I never said anything to my husband, i just figured it wasn't worth mentioning

A few days later I got a text back saying that they were interested in meeting with me to see how I sounded with their lead singer. I told them they could stop by my work and I would take my break and we could see how it went.

We had an awesome time talking about music and singing and laughing that I went over on my break. We haven't had a chance to sit and work through the whole song together but we ave been texting back and forth, the three of us, and have become decent friends.

My husband saw me texting him and assumed I was having an affair. He went off in a tirade about how I was a whore and cheap. I showed him the ad and told him how it happened ad he told me I was making it up because I hadn't mentioned it before. Mind you, this has happened within one week and my husband is only home on the weekends!!

What do I do? I love singing and music and being a part of something, but how do I convince him that there isn't anything going on??
